Eyes of the Abyss

The action-Horror movie revolves around a soldier who wakes up aboard a warship in the depths of the South Atlantic in 1982, and finds herself surrounded by corpses, her memory a labyrinth. When soldiers storm the ship, she must strike with lethal precision in a desperate fight for survival.

Daniel De la Vega was born in Buenos Aires in 1972. He’s also directed the multi-award winning short films Last Dinner, Deep Dream, and The Hammer, which was awarded “Best Short Film” at Sitges. He was also the co-writer and co-director of the Horror film Jennifer’s Shadow (2003), starring Faye Dunaway and filmed completely in Argentina for the American market.

The film is currently in post production, and Uncork’d plans to a release it during the final quarter of 2024.
