Apex Legends: Season 21 Release Date And Time

A brand-new season of Apex Legends is on the horizon, which means players around the world are eager to know the official release date and launch time for Season 21: Upheaval.

Once again, Season 21 will introduce a whole host of changes, improvements, and new content. The most notable addition for Season 21 will be the arrival of a new Legend: Alter, who will be the first new playable character since Season 19’s Conduit. Also arriving with next week’s content update is the return of Solos, a completely redesigned Broken Moon map, changes to Ranked, and much more.

PASSIVE: GIFT FROM THE RIFT

Alter can see and remotely interact with nearby death boxes to claim a single item. While she cannot take shield cores through the void, any other prize can be snatched from afar.

TACTICAL: VOID PASSAGE

Alter fires a void blast from her tail that shatters against a surface to open a dimensional gateway through from one side to the other for a short time. Crossing through the portal is instantaneous, and can be done from either direction, but travelers will remain phased briefly after exiting.

The angle of this shot determines what surface the exit will open on and can be used to open passages through ceilings and ledges, allowing Alter to place her passages creatively through the environment.

ULTIMATE: VOID NEXUS

Alter can deploy a Void Nexus that allies can remotely interact with to open a phase tunnel back to that point. When a tunnel is opened, that player will phase walk from their location to the Void Nexus and leave behind a portal that any player can follow through. The Nexus can be used even while downed, and it is an incredible way for Alter and her squad to regroup to a position of power for a reset, provided interlopers do not pursue…

Apex Legends: Season 21 Release Date And Time

Apex Legends Season 21: Upheaval will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on Tuesday, May 7th at 10AM PT / 1PM ET / 6PM BST.

Players across all platforms will be prompted to download and install a new patch before they can jump into the new season. PlayStation users will likely receive a pre-download approximately 24 hours prior to the season’s release, as is usually the case. Please note, however, that this download will merely be a pre-load of data. Season 21 content will not be available until the aforementioned date and time.
