Left to run her family’s apothecary, players take on the role of lonesome sixteen-year-old Sarah. As Sarah discovers her newfound powers and finds clues about her grandmother’s mysterious disappearance. She embarks on a journey into a realm steeped in occultism to find the truth about her family’s legacy. As well as what her role is within it.

Under the Bed games is an indie company’s based out of Magala, Spain with Tales from Candleforth being their first and only major project, as of now. The game was praised during its prerelease at gaming events for its unique and beautiful experience. It garnered major attention and awards for Best Art Direction from Gamepolis and Best Presentation from Industrial Organization School. Additionally, it also received nominations for Best Game Uptodown and Best PC/ Console Game in 2022.
