Fortnite: All Vaulted Items in Chapter 5 Season 2

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is here. This season is titled Myths & Mortals, and the ancient Greek mythology theme has replaced The Underground and the heist theme that players had grown used to. Many items and weapons had to go, and even though they will be missed, gamers can now enjoy all sorts of Mythic weapons, which they can take from the Olympian Bosses that have made the Battle Royale island their home.

Vaulted Items and Weapons

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 ended on March 8, 2024, and as always, gamers had to say goodbye to a lot of mechanics and items. Society members were defeated and no longer inhabit the island; Society Vaults have been replaced by Weapon Bunkers; and Loot Caches have been removed for the time being.

Some of the vaulted items, mechanics, and weapons will likely return as Chapter 5 Season 2 progresses. It is not uncommon for Epic games to remove some features to prevent a new season from being too overwhelming. As it continues, patches and updates will come out every few weeks, and they will surely add and unvault tons of weapons and items. Here are all the items and weapons that were vaulted when Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 launched:

While it wasn’t a major removal, bananas were also vaulted when the v29.00 update went live. Initially, this was confusing to fans. Some believed it was related to Peely’s kidnapping in Chapter 5 Season 1, but when the Oracle’s Snapshot Quests were released, it became clear that bananas had been removed from Fortnite because the Olympian gods arrived on the Battle Royale island and ate them all.

During this questline, players had to correctly answer which food was most appealing to the gods, and the right question was “bananas,” which put an end to fans’ doubt regarding their disappearance.

Returning Weapons

Whenever there’s a new Fortnite chapter, the weapon pool tends to be completely modified. However, that is not the case when a new season starts. So, gamers who enjoyed Chapter 5 Season 1’s weapons will still be able to use most of them this season. Here are all the returning weapons in Chapter 5 Season 2:

  • Hammer Pump Shotgun
  • Frenzy Auto Shotgun
  • Nemesis AR
  • Thunder Burst SMG
  • Reaper Sniper Rifle
  • Ranger Pistol
