Players can use a clever trick in Fortnite to make fishing a lot faster. Fortnite players may be busy with all the new additions, such as the new locations to visit, or ways that Myths and Mortals has altered the gameplay, such as using Underworld Dash, or finding the Mythic Thunderbolt of Zeus to use on other players. Many of these activities take place within battle royale, where health and shield management is critical, so players are always looking for new loot.

Whether Fortnite players play solo or with others, they may be focused on finding ways to increase their health during matches, or looking for items. This is why plenty of players go fishing, but as some may have discovered, fishing in this game is not always convenient.

Fishing rods seem to be better for fighting than they are for fishing, which may be something the developers always intended for players to discover, but could easily as well be a way to streamline processes that players just happened upon. Fortnite players with the Underworld Dash may be able to make this process go even faster.
