Lewis Hamilton vents frustration against those “continuing to talk sh*t” about his future move to Ferrari

Lewis Hamilton’s dismal start to the 2024 Formula 1 season has attracted several criticisms, with the Briton managing to gather only 10 points in the first four races, also due to the retirement at the Albert Park circuit in Melbourne caused by a Mercedes Power Unit failure, which further dropped him in the standings.

The seven-time Formula 1 world champion subsequently skipped the interview, dismissing the journalist with a curt: “Do you have better questions?”

Returning to the subject on the eve of the China weekend, Lewis Hamilton clarified: “I don’t feel the need to justify my decision. I think I know what’s right for me, and that hasn’t changed since I made the decision.”

Next January 7th, Lewis Hamilton will blow out 40 candles, and although aware that he’s no longer a young man, the Briton doesn’t seem bothered by advancing age: “I’m not the oldest driver here. I’ll still be Racing for quite some time, so it’s good that Alonso is still here. Fernando is one of the best drivers we’ve had in this sport. The fact that he continues to be here and have the results he’s had shows what’s possible. It shows the new era of athletes, what the human body can do and continue to do if nurtured.” – the future Ferrari driver concluded.
