Lords Of The Fallen Receives New Update

Hexworks Studio and publisher CI games have released a significant update version 1.5 called Master of Fate for Lords of the Fallen, which will end compatibility with the dark and its main novelty is the addition of additional modifiers in New Game+ mode.

Lords of the Fallen Version 1.5 ‘Master of Fate’ is Out Now

This version of the game is the result of all the player feedback collected over the past six months or so. It includes the Advanced Game Modification System, which introduces a bunch of novelties.

For example, we can randomly change the arrangement of enemies and objects, or activate the permadeath mode where we only have one life. It is also possible to increase enemy density and reduce health recovered by objects until we deal damage to enemies.

With this, the roadmap of free content outlined at launch concludes, which has so far added:

  • Significant performance, optimization, and stability improvements
  • Rigorous difficulty balancing including mob density reduction & nerfed ranged attacks
  • Split PvP and PvE game balancing
  • Online multiplayer enhancements for improved matchmaking and connection stability
  • New questlines including Season of the Bleak, Trial of the Three Spirits, and Way of the Bucket
  • New armor and weapon sets
  • Additional secret boss weapon abilities
  • Improved boss encounters with additional movesets & new AI
  • 12 new spells including the arena-devastating Immolation
  • New grievous strikes: each weapon family now features two unique finishers: one for single-handed wielding and another for two-handed wielding
  • Three new projectiles: Blood Vomit, Explosive Mines, and Frost Worms
  • Quality of Life updates including: Inventory expansion, appearance reset, storage functionality & gamepad rebinding

The Future Of The Lords of the Fallen Saga Is Guaranteed

Saul Gascon, executive producer of the game, commented that the game has received numerous updates to improve performance since its launch.

According to him, Lords of the Fallen was one of the first studios to use Unreal Engine 5 and therefore faced “absolutely unknown territory on the technical side.” Since then, they have managed to reduce the possibility of crashes and have improved multiplayer stability.

The developers have highlighted that since the release of Lords of the Fallen, they have managed to significantly improve the technical state and content of the game, so they consider their work to have concluded successfully. In the future, if new content appears in Lords of the Fallen, it will be within paid DLC.

Let’s remember that CI games’ CEO has stated that there are two new projects in development. Probably, one of them is a sequel to Lords of The Fallen, one of which is likely a sequel or prequel to Lords of the Fallen.

To celebrate the launch of Master of FatePlayStation players can currently enjoy a 50% discount on the game for a limited time, while both standard and deluxe editionsof Lords of the Fallen will be available on Steam at a 50% discount from 29th April as part of CI games’ Steam Publisher Sale.
