Construction materials in Manor Lords are quite literally what campaigns are built on, and players will always need more as their cities expand.
Quick Links
Construction materials in Manor Lords are required to build or upgrade structures in a settlement. These can be raw materials mined directly from the ground or processed goods for advanced construction.
Often, the only bottleneck to a settlement’s growth is the lack of materials needed for construction. If the mismanagement is severe enough, this shortage can spell doom for a campaign.
Manor Lords: How to Build Your Second Settlement
Building up one settlement can be a challenging task, but you’ll need to learn how to juggle more than one if you want to beat Manor Lords.

Timber can only be obtained by
building a Logging Camp
, which itself requires Timber to be built in the first place. The only way players will be able to build a Logging Camp to start Timber production is by using the Timber given to them at the start of the campaign in the
unsheltered supplies
. If no Logging Camp is built and all Timber is spent on the production of Burgage Plots or other buildings, players can get back the Timber (and other resources) spent for their construction by
using the demolish function
from the context menu. No settlement can work without a Logging Camp.
