Honkai Star Rail Aventurine release date

Hoyoverse loves giving us tiny crumbs about new characters. First appearing during a conversation with Topaz, Honkai Star Rail’s Aventurine offers her some work within the IPC. We meet the man himself on Penacony, and now we know what he brings to the table in battle.

As Honkai’s story unfolds, we’re meeting more and more interesting characters such as Honkai Star Rail’s Topaz and Honkai Star Rail’s Jingliu, and we’re getting ready to try them out in the Honkai Star Rail simulated universe to test their mettle.

Aventurine releases in the second half of the 2.1 update, as he received his drip marketing on Twitter. He runs alongside Jingliu, and has Lynx, Luka, and Serval as boosted four-stars.

What do we know about Honkai Star Rail Aventurine’s build?

Aventurine is confirmed a follower of the Preservation path and is an imaginary-using five-star character. Yes, another tall, five-star, imaginary-using man.

He’s primarily a shielder but can dish out some damage, some buffs, debuffs, and follow-up attacks on top. His best light cone is his signature Inherently Unjust Destiny.

What are the best light cones for Aventurine?

As a five-star character, Aventurine gets his own signature light cone called Inherently Unjust Destiny. This is the best possible choice to equip him with, but if you don’t have the means to get it (and, honestly, who really does), there will be some others that fit his kit.

What are the best relics for Aventurine?

Before his release, we can’t speculate too much about which relic sets are the best for Aventurine, but we can recommend a couple, just in case.

  • Two-piece set: Increases defense by 15%
  • Four-piece set: Increases the maximum damage that Aventurine’s shield can absorb by 20%
• Wastelander of Banditry Desert
  • Two-piece set: Increases Imaginary DMG by 10%
  • Four-piece set: When Aventurine attacks debuffed enemies, his crit rate increases by 10%, and his crit damage by 20% against imprisoned enemies

What are the best Aventurine team comps?

The good news is, Aventurine is a shielder that buffs your team and debuffs the enemy. Therefore, he can fit in any team you want to use him in. Fun fact – you can now use an entirely imaginary team made up of tall, five-star men – if you really want.

What are Aventurine’s skills?

Here’s what we know about Aventurine’s kit so far:

• Aventurine’s skill allows him to apply a team-wide, stackable, shield.
• When allies get hit while this shield is active, Aventurine gains a point of Blind Bet. After you get seven Blind Bet points, Aventurine unleashes a follow-up attack. This also reapplies the shield.
• His ultimate, Roulette Shark, gains Blind Bet points, while also attacking one target with imaginary damage. This can also apply a debuff, which means the target takes increased damage from allies that attack.
• Aventurine’s technique (The Red or The Black) grants the entire team a chance to gain a defense boost.

Who is Honkai Star Rail’s Aventurine?

Aventurine appears to be on the same level as Topaz – or at least he was before she got demoted for what happened with Jarilo-VI – a P45 rank staff member in the Strategic Investment Department of the Interastral Peace Corporation.

The small conversation at the end of the quest Jolted Wake From a Winter Dream doesn’t really give us much to go on other than he has an offer of work for Topaz that takes them to the game’s next area – Penacony.

Other than that, you can see what he looks like (albeit vaguely), as he’s actually on a light cone with Topaz. Called Trend of the Universal Market, this light cone is for the preservation path, so isn’t intended for use with Topaz, but may be good for Aventurine himself.
