Tarisland looks at the Misty Forest in its latest map preview

Full marks to the Elves of Tarisland, they live in a place called the Misty Forest. That’s it. Most Elves, they’d be calling the place Milliulussorieth, and you’d have to look through four translation guides to realize the name translates to “forest what got some mist going on,” so it’s still basically named Misty Forest, but now you have to memorize a weird word that sounds like a snake trying to growl. Not so here. This is the Misty Forest, enjoy your stay. That might not be the intended takeaway from this latest zone preview, but why not enjoy it anyway?

Yes, we know, what you’re supposed to be focusing on is that the Elves have a tradition of celebrating the seasons and trees and natural antibiotic-free all-natural botanical ingredients, but there’s a darker evil lurking beneath the surface with Merfolk attacking the Elves.
